The virtual battery day 2025 is an event for everyone involved in the battery value chain, from research and development, material production and the manufacture of cell components to quality control and recycling.

Our main goal is to promote the exchange of the latest developments, trends, and insights in battery technology from research and industry.

Battery researchers and scientists interested in sharing the latest research innovations with the community are invited to contribute to the event.

In the Spotlight – The Science Session

For scientists, we offer the free forum “The Science Session”.

Here, you can present your scientific research field to the battery community and a specialist audience. After the event, you will receive the contact details of those participating in your presentation/webinar.

The Science Session:

  • Type of presentation: Pre-recorded presentation, lecture or webinar
  • Duration: Standard presentation of 15 to 20 minutes or keynote of 20 to 30 minutes
  • Presentation area: Special presentation area battery research, innovations & trends and guidelines

What deadlines do I have to consider?

Once you have received the web form, you have two weeks to upload the information about your presentation. We need your recorded presentation no later than October 17, 2025.

In which languages are the recorded presentations offered on the event platform?
The event platform interface is bilingual. Visitors can choose between German and English.

What material do I need to provide for my recorded lecture?

You must provide us with these materials so that we can present your recorded presentation (webinar) at the virtual battery day:

  • Title and short description of the webinar
  • Language of the webinar (German or English)
  • Name, title and photo of the speakers
  • Up to 20 keywords describing the content
  • The webinar as an mp4 file

How can I submit the material for the presentation?

After you have registered your presentation, we will send you a link to a web form. The form asks for the information we need for your participation in the virtual battery day. You can easily upload your recorded presentation in the web form.

Important: We must receive the recorded presentation by October 17, 2025, at the latest.

The LUMITOS content experts will take care of everything else.
